Montalvo's Dining on the Terrace returns with all-new menus
Montalvo announces the return of Dining on the Terrace during its summer concert season, with all-new menus specially created by In Season Catering & Events of Palo Alto. Dining on the Terrace, presented by the Montalvo Service Group, offers concertgoers a gourmet dining experience set on the front veranda of the historic Villa.
This year's menus have been tailored to reflect the broad range of artists performing at Montalvo, featuring a jazz-inspired buffet, various regional dishes and ethnic cuisines, and several other themes. In Season, known for its fresh approach and use of seasonal ingredients, is led by Gilda and Tom Senter, who bring more than 25 years of combined experience to Dining on the Terrace.
"The Dining on the Terrace series really allows our guests to enjoy the full Montalvo experience," said Elisbeth Challener, executive director at Montalvo. "The setting is unmatched, with spectacular views of the front lawn and gardens, and the elegant dinner is followed by an equally extraordinary performance in the Garden Theatre."
Dining on the Terrace tickets include coffee, tea, gratuity, and tax. Fine wines, as well as nonalcoholic beverages, are available for purchase. The buffet is served 90 minutes prior to Garden Theatre performances, with the final dinner seating at the start of the performance. Buffet tickets may be purchased in advance for $45. Additionally, a limited number of tickets may also be purchased at the door for $50.
