Pacifica Seafood Buffet – Harveys fresh new restaurant
To the delight of hungry patrons, Harveys Lake Tahoe will launch its much-anticipated Pacifica Seafood Buffet on Memorial Day Weekend. The fabulous new eatery is located on the main casino floor, right in the heart of the action.
At a cost of over $8.5 million, Harveys spared no expense to ensure the best new dining experience at the Lake. Décor in Pacifica’s 20,000 square foot dining area includes two beautiful waterfall features, elegant ceiling treatments and tile work, submarine lighting effects, and a retail center. Banquette and table seating can accommodate over 500 people.
A state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen serves-up over 300 items from 12 stations, including popular and unique dishes such as: a delectable array of made to order sushi; a special bar for fresh-shucked oysters on the half shell, prawns and crab legs; the Baja station with seafood fajitas, fish and shrimp tacos; San Francisco favorites such as cioppino, Italian fried calamari, shrimp scampi and mouth-watering pan roasts; New England-style rotisserie chicken, steamed slipper tails and crab legs; and a Pacific Rim stir fry station including such delicacies as Thai red curry shrimp, teriyaki scallops and Szechwan mussels. Other stations offer old-fashioned fish fry favorites, Cajun seafood specialties, fresh catches of the day, and much more.
For those who like a little turf with their surf, there’s the carving station with succulent prime rib of beef, roast leg of lamb and rotisserie turkey. An “endless” salad bar, fresh fruits and a calorie-defying dessert bar are all included in the menu, which varies daily.
