LAWRY’S Foods takes its mouthwatering Marinades, Spice Blends and Steak Sauce on the road this spring and summer to share the season’s hottest grilling trends with cooking enthusiasts across the country. LAWRY’S LIVE! National Cooking Caravan and newly-added 'Sensation Stations' will visit 15 popular fairs and festivals during its 2004 tour season.

The delicious journey begins at the Lawry’s Live! Cooking Stage where Lawry’s chef Allison Benaderet features easy-to-prepare meal ideas and grilling tips in a lively, interactive setting. Recipes sure to get the season off to a sizzling start include Baja Chipotle Grilled Chicken Fajitas, Italian Bread Salad with Grilled Lemon Pepper Shrimp, simple secrets for best-ever burgers plus smokin' knife tips with CUTCO Cutlery.

New to this year’s tour are Lawry’s 'Sensation Stations' where festival-goers learn the important role the five senses play in how we enjoy food. Four unique areas include: The Nose Knows Aroma Bar which features brightly-colored flavored oxygen stations that appeal to the nose and the palate; Out of Sight Flavor shows how visual elements of food send flavor expectations to the brain; at the Super Tasters station participants discover their taste buds by 'painting' their tongues; and The Sound of Flavor challenges visitors to 'name that sound' based on familiar food items.

This year’s Lawry’s Live! Tour will be a feast for the senses, and offers activities for every member of the family, said Cori Lopez, Lawry’s Integrated Marketing and Public Relations Manager. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage in a hands-on exploration of flavor through our Sensation Stations, while learning new grilling tips and techniques to make easy summer meals at home.
