Lawry’s chef Allison Benaderet sharing the season’s hottest grilling trends
CUTCO Cutlery is on the road this spring and summer with the 2004 LAWRY’S LIVE! Cooking Caravan, hosted by Lawry’s Foods. The traveling cooking show features Lawry’s chef Allison Benaderet sharing the season’s hottest grilling trends at fairs and festivals across the country.
A feast for the senses, visitors to LAWRY’S LIVE! will see flavorful recipes unfold before their eyes, they’ll hear the sizzle of foods cooking on the grill, they’ll smell the aroma of freshly grilled food and they’ll taste what flavor can do for a recipe.
Chef Benaderet will be using CUTCO cutlery to demonstrate the recipes and audience members can expect to learn knife tips, like how to julienne, how to add flavor to hamburger buns and how to make the perfect steak.

The Caravan showcases how to prepare delicious food quickly and easily, which is the goal of many of today’s busy households, especially during the warm-weather months.
LAWRY’S LIVE! will also be offering festival-goers a chance to learn how the five senses play a role in how we enjoy food. Lawry’s NEW Sensation Stations, located near the stage, include: The Nose Knows Aroma Bar, featuring flavored oxygen stations that appeal to the nose and palate; Out of Sight Flavor shows how visual elements of food send flavor expectations to the brain; Super Tasters Station where participants discover their taste buds by painting their tongues; and The Sound of Flavor challenges visitors to name that sound.
