California-based Cattlemens Restaurants is set to open
California-based Cattlemens Restaurants is set to open its first Arizona restaurant on February 2, 2004. The family-owned and operated 11-restaurant chain occupies the former Texas Land & Cattle Co. property at 16840 N. 83rd Ave. in Peoria, Arizona.
The steakhouse is situated between the Peoria Sports Complex and Arrowhead Towne Center.
Life-sized wooden hand carved cowboys grace the entrance, traditionally arriving as each store is opened. The interior features ranching artifacts and antiques, creating an inviting, authentic Old West atmosphere. Cattlemens is excited about its further expansion in the West, especially in Arizona, said Wayne Holloway, Cattlemens' CEO. "Our founders were Arizona ranchers, so this area of the West holds special meaning for us.
The menu focuses on Cattlemens' signature product: superior quality Harris Ranch corn-fed natural beef. Expertly hand cut, each steak is aged on the premises. All you-can-eat-salad, hot sourdough bread, ranch-style beans and a baked potato are included with each dinner entree.
Seafood and chicken entrees are also offered, as well as a Young Wrangler's menu and a full Saloon. The Cattlemens famous slow-roasted Sizzling Prime Rib dinner will be specially priced during the month of February
