It is easy to learn how to cook lobster!

There are very many mouth-watering recipes that lobster goes very well in. Almost all recipes will start with lobster already cooked as it should be cooked as soon as it is killed. Then the cooked lobster is used in the dish that is being prepared. It is not difficult to learn how to cook lobster. That is the easy part. The complex dishes it can be used in become more complicated. When we consider how to cook lobster in recipes it is really more about how to add lobster meat to what you are cooking.

there are two main ways suggested for how to cook lobster. The first one I will mention is steaming the lobster. You will need a pot large enough to hold the lobster with a bit of room to spare around the edges. Some cooks leave the lobster right in about two inches of boiling water to steam it and other prefer to put them on a steaming rack inside the pot. Tightly cover the pot and rapidly bring the water to a boil. Steam for 13 minutes for the first pound and add 3 minutes for every additional pound.

The second way to cook them is by boiling them. You will need a large pot for this and its size will be dependant on the number of lobster you have to cook. How to cook lobster is easy from here. Bring the water to a rapid boil and then place the lobsters in headfirst. Cover the pot and rapidly bring it back to a boil. You will start counting when full boil resumes and allow ten minutes for the first pound and 3 for every additional pound more.
