Do lobster dinners mean a special event to you?

The treat of a special meal often conjures up the pictures of lobster dinners and other gourmet dinners. Lobster dinners may be enjoyed as the only meat but it is also very popular served with steak. When it is served with steak it is usually just the lobster tail. The whole lobster may also be steamed and served on it’s own. The meat has a lovely white and somewhat chewy texture that is complimented by a dip in melted butter and salt. The very selective diner will request sea salt as a preference. The white meat is grabbed in a chunk and then dipped into the salty buttery mix before being pooped into the waiting mouth of the diner. It is a treat many people crave with regularity.

Lobster dinners can also be produced from many other recipes. There are bisques and chowders as well as lobster cakes and patties. Chefs have created very appealing lobster salads and gourmet creations. It is a very versatile meat that can be enjoyed in many different ways. Pictures and recipes in cookbooks and cooking magazines will tempt you to try it if it is new to you. You may find some new ways to cook it if you have tried it in the past.

If you are unsure about trying your own hand at making lobster dinners from scratch you can always mail order all of the ingredients for a dinner complete with a detailed instruction guide and recipe. The hardest part of the work is already done for you and the lobster may ever be order alive!
